Ji-Eun Lee Music Academy seeks a passionate Piano Teacher to join our team, delivering personalized instruction and developing lesson plans that foster a love of music. The ideal candidate will have strong piano performance skills and pedagogy background, with flexibility to teach during evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience teaching piano to students of various ages and skill levels.
• Strong proficiency in piano performance and a solid understanding of music theory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students in their musical journey.
• Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching music.
• Availability to teach during evenings and weekends (negotiable/flexible).

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and group piano lessons to students of various ages and skill levels.
• Develop customized lesson plans that cater to the individual needs and goals of each student.
• Teach proper piano techniques, music theory, and performance skills.
• Prepare students for recitals, competitions, and examinations as needed.
• Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that promotes student engagement and growth.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
• Communicate regularly with students and their families regarding progress and any concerns.
• Stay current with teaching methods, repertoire, and trends in music education.
• Participate in school events, recitals, and community outreach programs as required.
