The School of Physics at the Georgia Institute of Technology invites applications for its inaugural School of Physics Postdoctoral Fellowship beginning in the Fall of 2027. The fellowship will support one or more outstanding early-career physicists pursuing an ambitious and independent research program within one or more research areas of the School of Physics.

The fellowship is a three-year term, comprising of an initial two-year appointment and a third-year contingent upon satisfactory

Qualifications

• Applicants must hold a PhD in Physics or a closely related field by the start date of the fellowship.

Responsabilités

• Developing an independent research program in collaboration with faculty.
• Preparing publications and presenting findings at conferences.
• Collaborating with the School of Physics and Georgia Tech community.
• Establishing an independent scientific identity and engaging with facilities.
