Job summary

Nalley Consulting, Llc is seeking a Senior Physicist and All Source Analyst to support defense analytics from Charlottesville, VA or Reston, VA. The role requires a TS/SCI clearance with CI poly, and a strong background in all-source analysis of nuclear programs.

Candidate will conduct independent research, model complex systems, and provide actionable briefings while collaborating with mission partners. A Bachelor's degree plus 8+ years of intelligence experience (or 12+ years without a degree)

Qualifications

• Experience conducting all-source analytic production on nuclear programs, including production facilities, stockpiles, logistics, systems employment, security.
• Knowledge of applying and querying SIGINT, GEOINT, OSINT, and HUMINT data sets and databases.
• Knowledge of nuclear weapons programs, including nuclear weapons effects, nuclear fuel cycle, and nuclear infrastructure.
• Ability to independently develop high-quality tailored deliverables, including actionable leads and ICD-compliant written products.
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.

Responsibilities

• Support defense analytical requirements with enhanced scientific research, capability or limitation analysis, reverse engineering analysis or characterizations, and facility and vulnerability assessments.
• Support interdisciplinary fields of physics such as astrophysics, biophysics, directed energy weapons, and geophysics.
• Conduct independent research, technical writing, modeling, and oversight or advising of allied engineering disciplines on fiber optics, acoustics, semiconductors, lasers, weapon systems development, and testing.

Required Clearance and polygraph: TS/SCI and CI poly required. Candidates with current CI poly conducted within the past 7 years strongly prioritized.
Required experience and education: Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience with intelligence, or 12+ years of experience with intelligence in lieu of a degree.

• Support defense analytical requirements with enhanced scientific research, capability or limitation analysis, reverse engineering analysis or characterizations, and facility and vulnerability assessments
• Support applied and interdisciplinary fields of physics such as astrophysics, biophysics, directed energy weapon s, and geophysics
• Conduct independent research, technical writing, modeling, and oversight or advising of allied engineering disciplines on fiber optics, acoustics, semiconductors, lasers, weapon s development, and testing, and identifythe characteristics of hard and deeply buried targets

Qualifications

• Experience conducting all-source analytic production on nuclear programs, including production facilities, stockpiles, logistics, systems employment, security, and vulnerabilities of facilities and stockpiles
• Experience with all-source analysis production, including analytic tradecraft, ICD 203 and 206, and DIA writing style
• Knowledge of applying and querying SIGINT, GEOINT, OSINT, and HUMINT data sets and databases
• Knowledge of nuclear weapon s programs, including nuclear weapon s effects, nuclear fuel cycle, and nuclear infrastructure
• Ability to independently develop high-quality tailored deliverables, including actionable leads, ICD-compliant written products, network charts, and formal or informal briefings
• Ability to adjust to changing mission requirements and deliver products withina short timeframe
• Ability to collaborate with other mission partners on production and take lead briefing at unique events
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience with intelligence, or 12+ years of experience with intelligence in lieu of a degree
