You will contribute to arterial and venous disease care, including open and endovascular approaches, and pursue scholarly activity under an academic appointment with Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
The Department of Surgery at The MetroHealth System, a major teaching affiliate of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Vascular Surgeon to join our full-time academic faculty in Cleveland, Ohio.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a vascular surgeon seeking a collaborative academic environment that combines a broad and diverse clinical practice with opportunities for teaching, mentorship, research, and professional growth.
The successful candidate will possess broad clinical expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of arterial and venous disease, utilizing both open surgical and endovascular approaches. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience and interest in the treatment of superficial and deep venous pathology.
Candidates should also be comfortable with the interpretation of noninvasive vascular studies and be eligible for or possess Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification.
As an academic vascular surgeon at MetroHealth, you will have the opportunity to help educate and mentor the next generation of physicians and surgeons through the teaching of Case Western Reserve University medical students and surgical residents.
Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to academic surgery and clinical excellence. Interest in research, scholarly activity, quality improvement, and program development is strongly encouraged and supported by the department.
An academic appointment with Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine will be provided, with academic rank commensurate with experience and qualifications.
