Banner University Medical invites BC/BE General Urologists to join a growing academic team in Tucson. The role focuses on teaching medical students and residents in both clinic and operating room settings, with access to new OR facilities and robotic platforms.

Qualified candidates will hold a faculty appointment and may pursue clinical or basic science research. Call schedule and patient load are described; AZ license or eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• BC/BE General Urologist with an academic appointment.
• Experience or interest in teaching medical students and residents in clinic and OR.
• Arizona license or eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Educate and train medical students and residents in clinical and operating room settings.
• Join a team of five physicians and eight mid-level providers.
• Participate in research opportunities if interested.

General Urology Opportunity with Univ of Arizona - Tucson | Banner Univ Medical

The University of Arizona Department of Urology is seeking a BC/BE General Urologist to join our growing team of exceptional physicians. This is a unique opportunity to join a vibrant team in one of the fastest growing areas of the country with brand new practice facilities including new outpatient clinic space and a 649-bed hospital. Qualified candidates will hold a faculty appointment with the University of Arizona commensurate with experience. Opportunities for clinical and basic science research are available for the interested candidate.

Qualifications, Features and Functions:

• Academic Urology position providing education and training of medical students and residents in both clinic and OR settings
• Join group of 5 established physicians and 8 mid-level providers
• New operating rooms with dedicated cystoscopy rooms
• DaVinci Xi and SP robots available
• Call schedule 1:6 with resident coverage
• Average Clinical Patient Load: 20-30/day - with MA support
• Valid AZ MD Medical License (or eligible to receive)
• Desire to join the leading team providing Urologic care in the Southwest
• Experienced candidates preferred, but new grads are welcome to apply
