Job summary

SWBMG, part of Sutter Health, is seeking a dedicated full-time Swing-Shift Hospitalist to join our team in San Francisco. You will care for a diverse panel including transplant, hepatology, gastroenterology, cardiology, nephrology and general internal medicine patients, integrating perioperative and advanced disease management.

Work with top subspecialists, a leading radiology service and an interactive inpatient pharmacy.

Qualifications

• BC/BE in Internal Medicine is required or strongly preferred.
• Active and unrestricted CA Medical License is required.
• Experience with tertiary care medicine is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee care for medically complex patients with transplant, hepatology, GI, cardiology and nephrology teams.
• Integrate general and perioperative medicine with end-organ disease management.
• Collaborate with consult services, radiology, and inpatient pharmacy to optimize outcomes.

SWBMG is looking for a dedicated full-time Swing-Shift Hospitalist to join our team. This is an opportunity to work with a world-renowned transplant group in managing a diverse panel of transplant, hepatology, gastroenterology, cardiology, nephrology and general internal medicine patients. Hospitalist work will integrate general and perioperative medicine, liver disease, complex GI, advanced heart failure and specialty cardiac care, and end-organ disease management into a team that maximizes patient satisfaction and outcomes. Oversee care for medically complex patients while working closely with a full complement of consult services, a top-notch radiology service and an interactive inpatient pharmacy team.

The service load is designed to provide excellent work-life balance while allowing careful and considered care for each patient at Sutter Health's Flagship Hospital. CPMC (a Leapfrog Group Top Hospital) has been considered the best hospital in the Bay Area (San Francisco Chronicle reader survey) and the 'Healthiest Hospital in America' (Natural Health magazine).

• 1.0 FTE is equivalent to 14 shifts/28 days (7 on/7 off pattern)
• Swing Shifts (M-F 12pm-10pm & Weekends 4pm-11pm)
• Closed ICU with no rounding
• Opportunity to work with top tiered subspecialists in the country
