Job summary

Join Parachute, LLC is seeking a Physician Substitute for our Milledgeville, GA site to oversee donor health and safety and contribute to a positive donor experience. You will work closely with center staff to uphold clinical standards in a fast-paced donor center.

The role includes cross-training in all center functions, a pathway to additional responsibilities, and a growth-focused environment in a high-growth company committed to safe, welcoming care.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18.
• State-issued nursing or EMT license/certification.
• Current BLS or CPR certification required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods.
• Ability to work weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor donor eligibility and safety; perform health screenings and exams.
• Respond to donor reactions and provide care as needed.
• Collaborate with center staff to maintain a positive donor environment.
• Cross-train in all center functions including phlebotomy and station setup.
• Maintain accurate health logs and test results under clinical oversight.

What You’ll Do

As a Physician Substitute, you will be a key member of the site’s lean team, responsible for donor health and safety and a critical part of the donor experience. You’ll work collaboratively with center staff to create a positive environment for the team and our donors. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor donor eligibility and safety; perform health screenings and physical exams
• Respond to donor reactions and provide care as needed
• Work collaboratively with all center staff
• Manage health logs and test results with clinical oversight
• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and compliant
• Beyond your core responsibilities, you will be fully cross trained in all center functions including phlebotomy, processing bottles, and station installation

Required Qualifications

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma, GED equivalent, or higher education
• Certified/licensed in the state of employment as a Registered Nurse, Paramedic, Licensed Practical Nurse, Advanced/Intermediate or Basic Emergency Medical Technician
• Current BLS or CPR certification
• Able to lift 50 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods
• Ability to work weekends, regularly or as needed
