Job summary

Parachute is seeking a Physician Substitute at our Center Medical site in Enid, Oklahoma. You’ll play a key role in donor health, safety, and the overall donor experience, collaborating with center staff to maintain a fast, friendly environment.

As part of a high-growth, hands-on team, you’ll conduct health screenings and exams, manage health logs, and support phlebotomy and processing activities. This role offers opportunities for growth within a dynamic plasma donation operation.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in the state of employment as RN, Paramedic, LPN, or EMT.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods.
• Weekend availability required.
• High school diploma or GED or higher.

Responsibilities

• Monitor donor eligibility and safety; perform health screenings and exams
• Respond to donor reactions and provide care as needed
• Work collaboratively with center staff
• Manage health logs and test results with clinical oversight
• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and compliant
• Cross trained in phlebotomy, processing bottles, and station installation

What You’ll Do As a Physician Substitute, you will be a key member of the site’s lean team, responsible for donor health and safety and a critical part of the donor experience. You’ll work collaboratively with center staff to create a positive environment for the team and our donors. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor donor eligibility and safety; perform health screenings and physical exams
• Respond to donor reactions and provide care as needed
• Work collaboratively with all center staff
• Manage health logs and test results with clinical oversight
• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and compliant
• Beyond your core responsibilities, you will be fully cross trained in all center functions including phlebotomy, processing bottles, and station installation

Required Qualifications

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma, GED equivalent, or higher education
• Certified/licensed in the state of employment as a Registered Nurse, Paramedic, Licensed Practical Nurse, Advanced/Intermediate or Basic Emergency Medical Technician
• Current BLS or CPR certification
• Able to lift 50 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods
• Ability to work weekends, regularly or as needed
