Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care invites experienced Physicians to join our team in Union, New Jersey. The role involves examining and treating patients with acute conditions, prescribing medications, and working 8- or 12-hour shifts.

What We’re Looking For

• Board‑certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds
• Active state medical license
• Two years of post‑residency clinical experience, ideally in an urgent‑care or emergency medicine setting
• Experience treating patients across all age groups
• Proficiency in minor procedures such as suturing and splinting, and in reading EKGs and X‑rays
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Comfort collaborating with advanced practice providers

Your Role

• Examining and treating patients with acute conditions
• Taking medical histories and ordering diagnostic tests
• Making diagnoses and prescribing medications
• Performing minor procedures and administering vaccinations
• Documenting patient progress and coordinating follow‑up care
• Supervising and collaborating with PAs/NPs, including remote supervision and credentialing support
• Working 8‑ or 12‑hour shifts in a fast‑paced, patient‑focused setting
