Job summary

Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center (PHSC) seeks an experienced shoulder and elbow surgeon to join our academic, multidisciplinary team in the Philadelphia area. You will deliver patient-centered care across clinic, operating room, and on-call settings while collaborating with residents and fellows.

The role supports research and clinical outcomes initiatives, with opportunities to teach at Jefferson University Hospital, contribute to ACGME-accredited fellowships, and participate in CME

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Fellowship in Shoulder & Elbow Surgery or Upper Extremity Surgery from an accredited program.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional, patient-centered shoulder and elbow care across clinic, OR, and call settings.
• Teach and mentor fellows and residents through clinical rotations, lectures, and educational sessions (as desired).
• Collaborate on clinical outcomes, research, and academic initiatives within a productive, multidisciplinary environment.

Fellowship in Shoulder & Elbow Surgery or Upper Extremity Surgery from an accredited program

• State licensure is not required at application; licensure will be obtained during onboarding.
• Multi-state practice may include PA, NJ, and DE.
