Job summary

Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare in Memphis, TN seeks a Physician Recruiter I to screen, recruit, and interview applicants for current and upcoming vacancies. You will coordinate steps to hire, advise management on qualified candidates, and maintain strong relationships with internal staff and external agencies.

You will also assist with Locum recruitment, stay current on HR practices, and use Workday and other databases for research, tracking, and onboarding, in a fast-paced, service-oriented

Qualifications

• Required: Physician recruitment 3-5 years
• Preferred: 7-9 years; substitutions allowed with HS diploma
• Bachelor's degree in Business/Healthcare/HR/Marketing preferred

• Recruits, interviews, and refers qualified applicants for posted positions.
• Counsels with prospective candidates regarding employment procedures, processes, and activities.
• Assists with the compilation of confidential and statistical reports.
• Coordinates travel for potential hires and create interview itinerary for site visits.
• Extends employment offers and supports onboarding with hiring leaders.
• Works directly with locums and contingency search firms to efficiently fill vacancies.

The Physician Recruiter I screens, recruits, and interviews internal and external applicants to fill current or expected job vacancies. Coordinates necessary steps and information to hire applicants. The Recruiter takes a proactive role in filling job vacancies and demonstrates a strong sense of urgency in work matters. What You Will Do

• Recruits, interviews, and refers qualified applicants (external and internal) for posted positions.
• Counsels with prospective candidates regarding employment procedures, processes, and activities.
• Assists with the compilation of confidential and statistical reports.
• Understands, applies, supports and facilitates system and department policies, procedures, and standards and input budgetary needs.
• Coordinates travel for potential hires and create interview itinerary for site visits.
• Extends employment offers and supports onboarding with hiring leaders.
• Works directly with locums and contingency search firms to efficiently fill vacancies.
• Assists and partners with Physician Recruiter II, Director of Physician Recruitment, and Sr. Director of Physician Recruitment special projects.
• Utilizes Workday, PracticeMatch, PracticeLink, and other databases for research, applicant tracking, and new hire processing.
• Performs other job functions as assigned or requested.

Education Qualifications

• Required - Bachelor's Degree Business Administration/Management
• Preferred - Bachelor's Degree Healthcare Administration
• Preferred - Bachelor's Degree Human Resources
• Preferred - Bachelor's Degree Marketing
• Preferred - Master's Degree
• Preferred - High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience Qualifications

• Required - Physician recruitment 3-5 years
• Preferred - 7-9 years Substitutions Allowed: In lieu of Bachelor’s degree, the candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent with seven years of physician/provider recruiting experience

• Understands and knowledgeable of the diversity of sourcing techniques.
• Understands and knowledgeable of the fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of the recruitment industry.
• Intermediate technical knowledge.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

• Proven successful skills in a proactive approach to Recruiting.
• Experience using applicant tracking systems
• Ability to communicate effectively dealing with internal and external clients.
• Ability to travel on recruitment assignments.

Supervision Provided by this Position

• There are no supervisory or lead responsibilities associated with this position.

Physical Demands
