Bassett Healthcare Network is an integrated health care system that provides care and service to people living in an eight-county region covering 5,600 square miles in Central New York. The organization includes five corporately affiliated hospitals, as well as skilled nursing facilities, community and school-based health centers, and health partners in related fields.The region is a vibrant and sophisticated upstate community set in a bucolic lake front village affording four seasons of cultural and outdoor activity.
Job Description & Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will work as an important member of a multidisciplinary team to provide patient oriented care in an environment that fosters teamwork, collaboration, independence and puts patient safety first. The Radiation Oncology Department is accredited by ASTRO APEx through 2028. There is a radiation treatment facility at the main Bassett campus in Cooperstown and a second satellite facility in Oneonta, NY is 30 minutes away. This position will be primarily based out of Oneonta, NY but patient care rotates through both locations. Future regional travel may include Cobleskill and Herkimer.
