Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff seeks a Radiation Oncology physician for a 1-month assignment in Johnstown, PA. The role requires on-site coverage during regular hours with radiation treatment planning and patient consultations. Description:Clienttion Oncology Coverage dates: October 12-16 and December 28-31.The provider must be on-site during the specified hours and dates.Regular hours onsite for inpatient consultation are weekdays from 07:00 to 15:00.This includes regular daylight in-house duties.The provider will see patients in the office if there is a need.The provider oversees scheduled radiation treatments.The provider may be called to round or consult on inpatients.The physician is required to be on-site while providing radiation treatments.On-call or after-hours responsibilities are not required.There is a possibility of receiving an emergent consultation for radiation treatment after hours or on weekends, which occurs infrequently.Documentation of patient contact hours is required.Physicians are expected to see new consults, follow-up visits, and conduct treatment planning for new patients and on-treatment weekly visits.Patient encounters per shift are not specified.The facility will make lodging arrangements as needed.Specialty skills required include radiation oncology techniques such as brachytherapy and external beam therapy.Preferred skills also include stereotactic body radiation therapy and intensity-modulated radiation therapy.Clinical trials experience is preferred.
