Job summary

CompHealth is seeking a radiation oncologist to join an established practice in Abingdon, VA. The position is a Monday–Friday, 7 am to 3 pm, 40 hours per week with extremely limited call shared with a radiation oncology nurse practitioner.

You will work with a physicist and dosimetrist in a solo radiation oncology role serving a growing patient base of about 25 patients per day, supported by 3–4 referring medical oncologists in a hospital-employed setting with regional and academic ties.

Come practice in Abingdon, located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Southwest Virginia. The town is known for its artsy vibe, historic charm, and its proximity to some of the most spectacular outdoor recreation in the state. It's less than a two-hour drive to Knoxville, Tennessee, Roanoke, Virginia, and Asheville, NC. It has a local regional airport, which makes travel easy and convenient.
