Job summary

Astrya Global Medical Staffing is hiring a Radiation Oncologist for a 13-week locum tenens assignment in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. Schedule is 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, five days a week, with potential extension. Compensation is $308–$332 per hour, with benefits and full credentialing support.

The role involves hospital-based coverage, coordination with a multidisciplinary team, and adherence to credentialing and licensing requirements. Fluency and board certification in Radiation Oncology are expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage in Radiation Oncology within a hospital practice setting
• Monitor and oversee the linear accelerator machine during scheduled shifts
• Respond to emergent situations as they arise within the department
• Perform occasional patient follow-up as needed
• Work with an interdisciplinary support team including nurses, therapists, physicists, and dosimetrists
• Provide care for adult patient population ages 18 and older (including adolescents and geriatrics)
• Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and patient records
• Maintain Board Certification in Radiation Oncology
• Maintain active PA license or IMLC LOQ in hand
• Maintain active DEA registration
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Demonstrate a minimum of 1 year of experience in a comparable specialty/setting
• Provide flexible availability including 1-2 day coverage shifts and vacation coverage as needed
• Adhere to weekday schedule of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch break
• Complete full credentialing compliance requirements within the required timeframe
• Submit required credentialing documentation including Social Security Number, photo, and background check results within required deadlines
• Complete required health requirements including vaccines, physical, and fit testing
• Schedule and complete Child Abuse Search and DHS fingerprint collection within required timeframe
