Job Opportunity: Pulmonology/CC/Sleep Physician at VA Eastern Kansas Health Care System

The VA Eastern Kansas Health Care System (VAEKHCS) is seeking a BC/BE Pulmonology, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine physician to join our team at the Topeka VA Medical Center.

Additional Details
  • Qualifications: BE/BC in Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine
  • Call Schedule: One in every 5-7 weekends for inpatient rounding; ICU back-up telephone call as needed
  • Office Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday
  • Inpatient Census: Approximately 25 inpatient beds, including an 8-bed ICU, with a census of 25-27
  • Outpatient Volume: About 35 outpatient consults per month

Compensation includes a SIGN-ON BONUS and RELOCATION EXPENSES. The annual salary ranges from $200,000 to $240,000, with potential for an additional $15,000 performance bonus and full benefits.

Licensure and CME
  • Unrestricted license from any US State
  • $1,000 annual CME stipend plus one week paid authorized absence
