Job summary

Sutter Medical Group in Sacramento, CA seeks a BE/BC Psychiatrist to join its expanding Behavioral Health program. The role includes direct patient care, psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, and psychopharmacology for adults and geriatrics.

Schedule is flexible; full-time is 36 patient contact hours (4-day week possible). SMG offers relocation up to $20,000, excellent benefits, 401(k) match, CME allowance, and EPIC EHR capabilities.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility required.
• Willingness to work with both adult and geriatric patients.
• Experience with psychiatry evaluations and treatment planning is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care and psychiatric evaluations.
• Diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Psychopharmacology management.
• Supportive brief therapy for patients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary Behavioral Health team.
