Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks a Psychiatry Physician to join the Emergency Psychiatry team at Alta View Hospital in Sandy, Utah. You will provide quality psychiatric care within an inpatient unit and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Opportunities include a $30,000 signing bonus, relocation assistance up to $20,000, a training stipend, and potential student loan repayment. The role includes 12-hour shifts and a 40-hour work week in a non-profit system.

Qualifications

• Board certified/board eligible in psychiatry.
• Unrestricted Utah MD or DO license or ability to obtain one.
• U.S. ACGME residency required.
• Ability to complete Intermountain Health credentialing.
• BLS for healthcare providers.
• Visa sponsorship will be reviewed individually.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric care as part of the Emergency Psychiatry team.
• Work at the Alta View Inpatient Psychiatry Unit in Sandy, UT.
• Complete 152 occurrences of 12-hour shifts per year.

• Work at the new Alta View Inpatient Psychiatry Unit
• Work 152 12-hr shifts per year

What you'll bring

• Board Certified/ Board Eligible in psychiatry
• Unrestricted Utah MD or DO license or the ability to obtain an unrestricted license
• U.S. ACGME Residency
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
