Description:We are seeking a Psychiatrist to provide psychiatric assessments and medication management services for patients with mental health disorders.The provider must be able to see patients of all ages.The work will be performed in person, with no remote option available.The role involves performing psychiatric evaluations and mental status examinations.Diagnosis will be made according to the current edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.The provider will utilize the current electronic health record system and adhere to established psychiatric medical guidelines.Collaboration with medical directors, nurses, clinicians, and case managers will be required to ensure a client-centered approach to mental health care.Providers will obtain and review relevant data, including laboratory and diagnostic procedures, for patient evaluation and treatment.Detailed written reports of assessments, diagnoses, and treatment summaries will need to be completed as required.The Psychiatrist will contribute to the development and implementation of individualized mental health treatment plans.Services will be provided in outpatient settings, with potential for telehealth options.The role includes providing consultation and peer guidance for other psychiatrists or therapists.Participating in quality assurance and improvement programs is also expected.Providers will advise and counsel client families regarding treatment issues, mental health diagnoses, and intellectual disabilities.Legal and court-related documentation may be required when necessary.Candidates should have the ability to work independently and cooperatively as part of a team.Excellent communication and documentation skills are essential.The role involves flexibility with scheduling and working in a consumer-driven environment.Candidates must be able to work effectively with a diverse population.
