Job summary

CompHealth is assisting in the placement of a psychiatry position in the inpatient behavioral health service. The role focuses on substance use disorder and detox care in a hospital setting with dedicated units.

The schedule includes a Monday–Friday on-unit pattern with manageable calls; weekend calls and weeknights are rotated. Board-eligible/certified psychiatry credentials and SUD experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Board eligibility or board certification in Psychiatry.
• Prior SUD or detox experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• On-unit schedule Monday - Friday with manageable call responsibilities.
• Weekend call approximately 1:4 rotation; weeknight call approximately 1 night per week.
• Join an established inpatient behavioral health program with dedicated specialty units.
• Focus on inpatient substance use disorder and detox care with short patient stays.
• Ability to flex between SUD and general adult inpatient units based on census.
• Supervision of Nurse Practitioners; multidisciplinary team collaboration.

Salary from $350000.00 to $400000.00 annually
