Job summary

Phoebe Putney Health System in Albany, GA seeks a Program Director for Internal Medicine. Board Certified by ABIM or AOBIM with an MD or DO, you will lead a new Internal Medicine residency within a not-for-profit health system and oversee education programs.

Salary starts at $300,000 base with RVU/incentive bonuses; includes a $75,000 sign-on, CME and relocation allowance. Applicants should have at least 3 years of educational/administrative experience as core faculty or director, remain

• Minimum 3 years educational/administrative experience as core faculty, associate program director or medical student clerkship director
• Must be engaged in ongoing current clinical activity (inpatient or outpatient)
• Demonstrated scholarly activity in research, education, patient care/population, QI, creation of curricula or education materials, didactic educational activities or contribution to professional committees, education organizations or editorial boards
• Demonstrate strong interest in teaching
• Commitment to quality, patient safety, and overall excellent evidence-based clinical care
• Ability to work as a team member

• New IM residency program with Independent Not-for-profit health system
• Level 2 Trauma Center in southwest Georgia - Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital
• $300k base salary with RVU and incentive bonus structure; $75k sign on, CME and relocation allowance
