Job summary

MaineHealth Lincoln Hospital seeks a primary care physician (full-time or part-time) to join a collaborative team at the Waldoboro Primary Care Clinic. The clinic opening in March 2026 will feature modern exam rooms and on-site lab services.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency or fellowship in the relevant specialty, or equivalent.
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in Maine.

Responsibilities

  • Establish long-term patient relationships and provide high-quality primary care.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care.
  • Work at the Waldoboro Primary Care Clinic as part of the Lincoln Hospital/MaineHealth network.

Lincoln Hospital, a 25-bed critical access hospital and proud member of MaineHealth, is seeking a full-time or part-time primary care physician to join our experienced and collaborative team. As part of MaineHealth’s comprehensive network, Lincoln Hospital’s Primary Care team delivers expert, patient-centered healthcare across multiple locations, including Boothbay Harbor, Damariscotta, Waldoboro, and Wiscasset, Maine.

This opportunity is based at our Primary Care Clinic in Waldoboro. Opening in March 2026, this new, state-of-the-art clinic will offer modern exam rooms, on-site lab services, and a welcoming, fully accessible environment.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to establish long-term relationships with patients, providing high-quality, compassionate care to individuals and families. You will work alongside a team of experienced healthcare professionals committed to delivering exceptional primary care services that enhance the health and well-being of our community.

As a HPSA-designated worksite and a not-for-profit organization, primary care providers at our Waldoboro Clinic may be eligible for federal student loan repayment programs including the HRSA National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Program and Public Service Loan Forgiveness.

Total compensation packages may include, based on eligibility, recruitment payments, relocation assistance, productivity incentives, and quality incentives.
