Job summary

MaineHealth Primary Care Family Medicine, a department of Franklin Hospital, seeks a full-time BC/BE Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to provide care at our office in Farmington, Maine.

The successful candidate will join a team of two physicians and three APPs with on-site labs and inpatient coverage at Franklin Hospital. Teaching opportunities with UNECOM and Tufts are available, plus leadership development and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of Family/Internal Medicine Residency program.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family/Internal Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care including physical exams, sick visits, women’s health exams, well-child visits, school and sports physicals, and chronic disease management.
• Inpatient care at Franklin Hospital; nursing home rounds on occasion.
• Teaching opportunities for nurse practitioners/physician assistants and medical students from UNECOM and Tufts University Medical School.

MaineHealth Primary Care Family Medicine, a department of Franklin Hospital is seeking a full-time BC/BEFamily Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to provide care at ouroffice based inFarmington, Maine.

The successful candidate will join our dynamic team including two physicians and three Advanced Practice Providers (APP) working together with outstanding support staff. Franklin’s Primary Care services include physical exams, women’s health exams, sick visits, well-child visits, school and sports physicals and management of chronic health conditions. Blood work and lab services are on site, and inpatient care is at Franklin Hospital. Call requirements are 1:6 and providers will occasionally make nursing home rounds. The position offers teaching opportunities of nurse practitioners/physician assistants as well as medical students from University of New England’s UNECOM program and Tufts University Medical School program.

Qualifications:

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of Family/InternalMedicine Residency program.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family/InternalMedicine.
• Family/Internal Medicine experience is preferred but not required.

Total compensation packages may include, based on eligibility, recruitment, payments relocation assistance, productivity incentives and quality incentives.

The annual base salary for this position is $257,500.
