Nexus Health Systems in Houston seeks an Office Manager to oversee daily operations, administrative functions, and revenue cycle activities across physician practices within our specialty hospital system serving patients with neurodevelopmental and behavioral health needs.

The role collaborates with physicians, clinical teams, and operational leaders to ensure exceptional patient experiences, regulatory compliance, and sustainable financial performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of progressive experience in physician practice operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of physician offices including scheduling, registration, referrals, prior authorizations, insurance verification, medical records coordination, payment posting, and patient access functions.
• Direct and supervise front-office, administrative, patient access, and billing support personnel.
• Develop, implement, and monitor workflows that improve operational efficiency, reduce patient wait times, and enhance provider productivity.
• Lead patient access initiatives to improve timely appointments and continuity of care for medically and behaviorally complex patients.
• Serve as operational liaison between physician practices, hospital departments, referral sources, payers, and community providers.
• Manage office resources, supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships to support efficient operations.
