Banner University Medical Center Tucson in partnership with the University of Arizona seeks a full-time Pediatric Rheumatologist to join our academic team. The physician will hold a faculty appointment at the University of Arizona and collaborate with multiple subspecialties while engaging in teaching and research.

The role includes M-F, 8-5 hours, opportunities for leadership, and participation in a range of academic activities within a nationally recognized medical center.

Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. degree is required.
• Arizona medical license must be obtained by start date.
• Board certification in Pediatrics is required.
• Completed Pediatric Rheumatology Fellowship with sub-specialty certification.
• New grads are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Teach and mentor trainees as part of a faculty appointment.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary subspecialties (Primary Care, Pediatric Hospitalists, Intensivists, Infectious Disease, Radiology, Pathology, Gastroenterology, Hematology/Oncology).
• Provide pediatric rheumatology care as part of Banner University Medical Group.
• Participate in research, quality improvement, community outreach, leadership, and academic activities.

The Division of Pediatrics at the University of Arizona, in partnership with Banner University Medical Group is seeking a full-time Pediatric Rheumatologist to join our team. The physician hired will have a faculty appointment at the University of Arizona consistent with the candidate's credentials

Opportunity Details:

The physician hired for this role will partner closely with Dr. Marci Macaraeg. In addition, this position offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with colleagues from well-established multi-disciplinary sub-specialties such as Primary Care, Pediatric Hospitalists and Intensivists, Infectious Disease, Radiology, Pathology, Gastroenterology, and Hematology/Oncology.

M-F: 8-5

Providers participate in teaching and mentoring.

EMR system: Cerner

Pediatric hospitalist coverage 24/7

Opportunities for research, quality improvement, community outreach, leadership, administrative, academic and teaching activities are available.

Minimum Qualifications:
