Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a BC/BE pediatric neurologist to join the pediatric neurology clinical care team. You will provide general neurology services and contribute to subspecialty programs such as epilepsy, developmental delays, headaches, tics, neurogenetics, concussion and trauma, collaborating with neuropsychologists and neurosurgeons to deliver comprehensive care.

Qualified candidates will have completed pediatric neurology training, be eligible for Arizona licensure, and hold or obtain

Qualifications

• Completed pediatric neurology residency or fellowship.
• Eligibility for credentialing to Banner Children’s Specialists: BE/BC Neurology with Special Qualifications in Child Neurology, active license or ability to obtain license in Arizona, and current DEA registration.
• Interest in general child neurology with subspecialty interests such as headaches, epilepsy, neuromuscular disorders, neonatal or neurodevelopmental neurology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide general pediatric neurology care and participate in subspecialty programs such as epilepsy, developmental delays, headaches, tics, neurogenetics, concussion and trauma.
• Collaborate with neuropsychologists and neurosurgeons to deliver high-quality care.

Essential Functions and Qualifications

The team seeks a BC/BE pediatric neurologist to become an active member of the pediatric neurology clinical care team. Primarily practicing general neurology and contributing to any of the Division's neurology clinical care programs such as epilepsy, developmental delays, headaches, tics, Neurogenetics, concussion and trauma. Our goal is to work closely with Neuropsychologists and Neurosurgeons to provide quality general neurology care to the community. We seek candidates who meet the following qualifications:

• Graduate of or finishing an accredited residency or fellowship program in Pediatric Neurology.
• Eligibility for credentialing as part of the Banner Children’s Specialists to include BE/BC Neurology with Special Qualifications in Child Neurology, active license or ability to obtain license in Arizona, and current DEA registration.
• Interest in general child neurology plus additional interest or training in specific subspecialty areas such as headaches, epilepsy, neuromuscular disorders, neonatal or neurodevelopmental neurology is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate within a team setting and communicate effectively.
• Finishing residents and fellows, and experienced physicians, are encouraged to apply.
