Job summary

Banner University Medical Center in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Pediatric Cardiologist with expertise in fetal cardiology and advanced imaging to join our academic team. Join a practice of six pediatric cardiologists and one nurse practitioner, with access to TEE/CT/MRI, fetal cardiology, interventional, electrophysiology, and pediatric congenital heart services.

Academic appointment through the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Tucson.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Cardiology.
• Advanced training or significant experience in Fetal Cardiology/Advanced Imaging.
• Willing to work in an academic setting and supervise residents/medical students.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric cardiology care with access to advanced imaging and fetal cardiology.
• Supervise residents, medical students, and fellows in clinical and educational settings.
• Engage in research with mentorship and funding opportunities.
• Academic appointment through the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Tucson.

Thanks to programmatic growth, Banner University Medical Group in Tucson, AZ is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Pediatric Cardiologist to join our team.

Position Details:

• Join a team of 6 Pediatric Cardiologists and 1 Nurse Practitioner. Our practice provides advanced imaging (TEE/CT/MRI), fetal cardiology, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, and cardiac surgical services for pediatric cardiology and adult congenital heart populations based at Banner University Medical Center in Tucson, AZ
• Academic appointment through the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Tucson
• Research with mentorship and funding opportunities
• Resident, medical student, and fellow supervision and teaching

Desired Qualifications:

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Cardiology.
• Advanced training or significant experience in Fetal Cardiology/Advanced Imaging
• Experienced physicians and new grads welcome to apply!

Preferred Attributes:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluency in Spanish is preferred to enhance communication with our Spanish-speaking patient population.
