Perform minor surgical procedures including laceration repair, neonatal circumcision, ingrown toenail excisions and I&D of superficial abscesses. Order diagnostic and laboratory tests, medications, immunizations, and other appropriate therapeutic interventions as determined by the symptoms or illness of the patients. Complete forms for school and regulatory agencies regarding medication administration, medical clearance for activities, and authorization for care outside of system. Work to meet HEDIS & Quality measure goals. Use Electronic Health Record to accurately record all pertinent information regarding patient history, physical exam, diagnostic assessments, and treatment plan. Educ./experience: Requires Medical Degree (M.D.) degree, or foreign equivalent and completion of an accredited residency program in Pediatrics.
