Job summary

St. Luke's Health System seeks a Pediatric PM&R physician to join Idaho's only children's hospital team. You will support patients in outpatient and inpatient rehab, collaborate with 20+ pediatric specialties, and participate in spina bifida clinics and multidisciplinary care models.

The position emphasizes ongoing learning, clinical excellence, and a commitment to patient-centered outcomes in a highly collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board-certified or board-eligible.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Idaho.
• Preferred: experience with intrathecal baclofen pumps, botulinum toxin injections, phenol and salivary gland botox.

Responsibilities

• Support patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings, including rehab units.
• Collaborate with a team of pediatric specialists in a multispecialty environment.
• Contribute to longitudinal care and management of pediatric disabilities.

This team provides comprehensive, multidisciplinary care, allowing children to achieve their optimal level of independence. The ideal candidate will have a broad base of clinical knowledge and be willing to learn and develop specific skills / knowledge related to neurological and musculoskeletal assessment and management, the inpatient rehabilitation model of care, and longitudinal care and management of patients with disabilities in the outpatient clinical setting.

What to Expect:

• Join a team of 1Peds PM&R Physician and 1 part-time Peds PM&R NP
  • Idaho's only Children's Hospital, serving as the region's primary referral center for pediatric specialty and subspecialty care
• Call 1:4- Very light call
• Support patients in both the outpatient and inpatient settings, including managing patients on our Inpatient Rehab Unit
• Support our Spina Bifida Clinic one time per month
• Robust, on-site multispecialty collaboration: Practice in a highly collaborative environment with 20+ pediatric specialties on site at St. Luke's Children's Hospital-Idaho's only dedicated children’s hospital-where integrated, multispecialty support is a defining strength
