Job summary

Renown Health and UNR Med are seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Pediatric Neurology physician to join our growing pediatric specialty program in Reno. This full-time role focuses on outpatient care with IP consultations in our Children’s Hospital, supported by a dedicated two-MD team and on-site clinicians.

The position emphasizes teaching medical students, residents and PA students within an affiliated academic environment, under a community-based residency training model.

Qualifications

• MD, DO and BE/BC in Pediatric Neurology.
• Eligibility or Nevada medical licensures, state pharmacy, and DEA.
• Commitment to clinical care, education and academic service.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient pediatric neurology practice with IP consultations and a dedicated team.
• Teach medical students, residents, and PA students.
• Collaborate with a social worker, case manager and resources for patient care.
• Engage in an academic service role within UNR Med and Renown Health.

Renown Health and University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine (UNR Med) are recruiting a Board Eligible/Board Certified Pediatric Neurology Physician to join our growing and well-supported pediatric specialty program within our Department of Pediatrics.

Position Highlights:

• Full-time outpatient pediatric neurology practice with a diverse and established patient population and IP consultations in our Children's Hospital
• Dedicated team of 2 MDs, and MA support
• Rotating shared call
• Social worker, case manager onsite and dedicated prior authorization pharmacy liaison
• Affiliate Faculty Appointment with UNR Med
• Teaching medical students, residents, and PA students
• Community-based training model with ACGME-accredited IM, FM, Pediatric residencies.
