Job summary

Essentia Health in Fargo, North Dakota is seeking a full-time Pediatric Hospitalist to join the inpatient service. The team includes 3 physicians and 3 APPs, with 24-hour block rotations and dyad coverage. This role does not cover ICU, PICU, or NICU.

The package includes paid malpractice insurance and daily newborn rounding coverage. BE/BC Pediatrician candidates with excellent teamwork and communication are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

PRACTICE SPECIFICS

Seeking a full-time Pediatric Hospitalists as part of the growth within the pediatric inpatient services at Essentia Health Hospital in Fargo, ND.

• Well-established, well-respected, and growing practice. Includes 3 physicians & 3 APP’s.
• Scheduling consists of consecutive blocks, 24 hour shifts
• Advanced Practice Provider works with physician for dyad coverage

Hospitalists do not cover ICU, Peds ICU, or NICU.

Excellent compensation package with paid malpractice insurance.

Average pediatric census of 2 to 3 patients per day.

Daily newborn rounding coverage

• Special procedures preferred/required: Circumcisions.
• Other procedures dependent on experience.
• Leadership options available

REQUIREMENTS

• 3.5 hours northwest of Minneapolis/St. Paul
