Overview

Pediatric Gastroenterologist – Duluth, MN. Essentia Health Duluth Children’s Hospital is the region’s largest provider of pediatric care. Join our growing Pediatric Gastroenterology team, working alongside 11 outpatient pediatricians and multiple pediatric subspecialists on staff. The hospital houses the region’s only PICU and NICU, a Level II pediatric trauma center, an emergency department designed for children, a children’s cancer center, pediatric‑accredited rehabilitation services, and an inpatient mental health facility for children and adolescents. The Digestive Health Center performs a full spectrum of endoscopy procedures, and all GI hospital admissions are managed by acute care pediatric hospitalists and intensivists. The program is supported by child life specialists, child sedation services, pediatric dietary/nutrition services, and a family advisory council.

Requirements

Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Pediatric Gastroenterology.

Location

Duluth, MN – a harbor city located at the westernmost tip of Lake Superior, 150 miles north of Minneapolis/St. Paul.

Compensation

Base salary: $335,302. Hired candidates may be eligible for additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives, or production‑based compensation.
