Job summary

Wellstar Health System’s Pathology Department seeks a board-eligible, board-certified AP/CP Pathologist with an interest in medical directorship. The position is based at North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, GA, performing general anatomic and clinical pathology duties with potential medical lab director responsibilities.

Ideal candidates have at least three years post-graduate experience; subspecialty fellowship and leadership/academic background are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be BE/BC in anatomic and clinical pathology.
• Three years of post-graduate experience required.
• Fellowship in a subspecialty and/or leadership/academic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• General responsibilities in anatomic and clinical pathology with possible medical lab director duties.
• Work includes surgical cases, frozen sections, STAT non-gyn cytology evaluations, conferences and laboratory consultations.
• Interest/experience in head and neck pathology is a plus.

The Pathology Department of Wellstar Health System is looking for a board-eligible, board-certified AP/CP Pathologist with interest in medical directorship. This provider will practice primarily at North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, GA.

The position involves general responsibilities in anatomic and clinical pathology with possibility for medical lab director duties. Ideal candidate will have at least three years of post-graduate experience. Recently trained pathologists will be considered. Subspecialty Pathology Fellowship experience and/or previous leadership/academic experience is preferred.

Wellstar Health System consists of nine not-for-profit hospitals located primarily in suburban Atlanta. The applicant must be BE/BC in anatomic and clinical pathology. Responsibilities include an interesting array of surgical cases, frozen section diagnoses, STAT non-gyn cytology evaluations, conferences, and laboratory consultations. Ideal candidate will have an interest/experience in head and neck pathology.

Board-eligible, board-certified AP/CP Pathologist, licensed in Georgia required.
