WVU Health System in Martinsburg, WV seeks an Orthopedic Trauma Physician to join the WVU Health System’s Orthopedics and Sports Medicine team. The successful candidate will diagnose, treat and perform surgery for musculoskeletal injuries and participate in a full range of services offered by WVU Medicine.
Applicants must have an MD or DO degree, complete an ACGME orthopedic residency and an Orthopedic Trauma fellowship, and be board certified or eligible in Orthopedic Surgery with state license

Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the area of orthopedic trauma. The Orthopedic and Sports Medicine providers of WVU Medicine offer a full range of services including diagnosis, treatment and surgery of the musculoskeletal system
Qualifications: Applicants must have a MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible to obtain state medical license. Candidates must have completed an ACGME accredited orthopedic surgery residency as well as an Orthopedic Trauma fellowship. Successful candidates must be board certified/eligible in Orthopedic Surgery. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment
Berkeley Medical Center serves the community as a 195-bed non‑profit acute care hospital. BMC offers full radiology services including MRI, PET, nuclear medicine and interventional radiology; a wound care center with two hyperbaric chambers,a NICU, a 20‑bed ICU, oncology services, neurosurgery services (including a Mazor robot) and a Cardiac Cath Lab. BMC recently expanded OR services by adding four new outpatient ORs and five new ORs in the main hospital to grow services in robotics, orthopedics, and vascular health
