Job summary

Barton Associates is seeking an Orthopedic Trauma Physician for a 35-day assignment in North Carolina, starting January 4, 2027. The schedule requires 7 consecutive 24‑hour coverage days and focuses on both orthopedic and trauma coverage for a developing Trauma program.

The ideal candidate will hold Orthopaedic Surgery board certification, be comfortable with Epic electronic medical records, and bring a trauma background for a seamless staffing solution.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Orthopaedic Surgery.
• Experience in trauma coverage.
• Proficient with Epic EMR.
• Willing to work 7 consecutive 24-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide 7 consecutive days of 24-hour orthopedic and trauma coverage.
• Support the client's newly established Trauma program.
• Manage a variety of ortho trauma cases and some general orthopedic cases.
