Banner University Medicine in Tucson, AZ is seeking a fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Hand Surgeon to join its established academic practice. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive hand and upper-extremity surgical care for elective and trauma cases while educating medical students, residents, and fellows.

A faculty appointment with the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson will be commensurate with experience and credentials, with opportunities for NIH-funded research

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery.
• Fellowship training in Hand Surgery.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Arizona.
• Commitment to clinical excellence, education, and collaborative patient care.
• Interest and experience in academic research preferred.
• NIH research funding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical and clinical care for elective and trauma hand conditions.

The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Banner University Medicine Tucson and the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Tucson is seeking a fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Hand Surgeon to join its established academic orthopaedic practice.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing, multidisciplinary department with a strong commitment to clinical excellence, education, and research. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive surgical care for elective and traumatic conditions of the hand and upper extremity while participating in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows.

A faculty appointment with the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Tucson will be commensurate with the candidates experience and academic credentials.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery
• Fellowship training in Hand Surgery
• Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Arizona
• Commitment to clinical excellence, education, and collaborative patient care
• Interest and experience in academic research preferred
• NIH research funding is a plus
