Job description

OSCW has specialists in most areas of orthopedics including hand/upper extremity, joint reconstruction, sports medicine, foot and ankle, and general orthopedics. In addition, we offer interventional pain management, neurology, physical therapy, and certified hand therapy.

Equity in our new, state‑of‑the‑art ambulatory surgery center (Orthopedic & Spine Surgery Center) as well as OSCW’s MSO is offered to all partners. Additional equity opportunities are also available and can be discussed further as requested.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools such as MRI, CT scans, X-rays, and other imaging modalities to identify spinal disorders.
  • Develop and discuss appropriate treatment plans with patients, including surgical and non‑surgical options.
  • Conduct advanced surgical techniques, including decompression, fusion, and disc replacement.
  • Monitor patients’ recovery and manage postoperative complications.
  • Collaborate with physical therapists and other healthcare providers to optimize patient recovery.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Participate in case discussions and team meetings.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in spinal surgery and interventional techniques.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records.Ensure compliance with hospital policies, medical regulations, and quality standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical protocols.
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
  • Completion of an accredited residency program in Orthopedic Surgery or Neurosurgery.
  • Completion of a Spine Surgery fellowship.
  • Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery or Neurosurgery.
  • Valid medical license to practice in Wisconsin.
