Joining our team requires completing an ACGME-accredited Ophthalmology residency, NH medical licensure, and a valid DEA registration. The role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and patient-centered care in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• ACGME-accredited Ophthalmology residency completed.
• NH Board of Medicine license (MD/DO).
• Valid DEA registration.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

• Proficiency with healthcare IT and patient records.

Responsibilities

• Analyze patients' medical histories and examine results to guide treatment and procedures.
• Diagnose eye conditions and develop office and hospital care plans.
• Perform procedures to repair injuries, correct deformities, prevent disease, and restore function.
• Provide consultation and surgical assistance to other physicians.
• Direct and coordinate nurses and support staff.
• Stabilize patients and arrange emergency transport when needed.

What You’ll Do

• Analyze patients’ medical histories, examine and evaluate physical conditions, and order and evaluate results from imaging and testing to verify appropriate treatment and operative procedures
• Diagnose bodily disorders and eye related conditions, develop treatment plans, and provide treatments in office and hospital settings
• Perform procedures and operations to repair injuries, correct deformities, prevent and treat disease, and improve or restore patient’s function consistent with the physician specialty of Ophthalmology and as granted in clinical privileges by the Board of Directors
• Provide consultation and surgical assistance to other physicians and surgeons
• Direct and coordinate the activities of nurses, assistants, and other support personnel
• Stabilize patients in life-threatening or unusual situations and, when appropriate, arrange for emergency transport to a physician and/or tertiary care center with appropriate clinical skills/resources

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• Successful completion of ACGME-certified residency program in Ophthalmology
• Licensed by NH Board of Medicine as physician (MD or DO)
• Possess valid narcotics registration (DEA number)
• Ability to work independently
• Willingness to work in a team-oriented environment
• Effective communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to use computer for healthcare work

Preferred:

• Board certification in chosen specialty
• Prior experience
• Demonstrated ability to work harmoniously and professionally with other practitioners and staff
