Aoiassn is seeking a full-time Board Eligible/Board Certified palliative care physician to join our Palliative Oncology team at Parkview Packnett Family Cancer Institute in Fort Wayne, IN.

Position Overview

Parkview Health is currently seeking a full-time Board Eligible / Board Certified palliative care physician to join our Palliative Oncology team at Parkview Packnett Family Cancer Institute in Fort Wayne, IN.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• The ideal candidate is a compassionate and innovative physician driven to provide a multidisciplinary approach to palliative care in the cancer population.
• Palliative care is an integral part of our cancer care delivery model with involvement at all stages of a patient's cancer journey, when appropriate.
• Commitment to proactive management of symptoms and improvement of quality of life.
• Completion of a palliative care fellowship favored, but internal medicine or dual palliative oncology and medical oncology training would be considered.
• Call frequency is 1:3
• Academic‑style practice in a community setting
• Health system utilizes EPIC EMR System
