Banner Health is seeking a physician for an employed Occupational Medicine position in the Northern Colorado Front Range area, Windsor, CO. You will provide a full range of occupational health services including injury/illness care, employment physicals, DOT exams, and fit-for-duty assessments.

Qualifications

• BC/BE in Occupational Medicine or related field preferred.
• Experience treating Occupational Health injuries and illnesses.
• DOT Certification or within six months of hire.
• MRO Certification or within six months of hire.
• Level II Colorado Workers Compensation Accreditation for MDs/DOs or within 6 months.

Responsabilités

• Partner with employers and payors to protect worker health.
• Provide exclusively occupational health care (no urgent care).

Providing a full range of clinical Occupational Health services, including the evaluation and treatment of occupational injuries and illnesses, and the performance of specialty examinations and guidance with relevant regulations to patients, employers, and payors of Banner Occupational Health Services (BOHS).

Position will include:

• Treatment and care of occupational injuries
• Specialty examinations such as employment physicals, DOT physical exams, executive physical exams, return to work exams, and fit for duty exams
• Partnering with employers and payors to protect the health of workers
• No urgent care. We provide exclusively occupational health care
• Four-day work week that allows you to explore all of what Northern Colorado has to offer
• Anticipate 1-hour new patient visits and 30 min follow-ups
• Predominantly scheduled visits with low frequency of non-emergent walk-in injuries
• Low turn-over in staff and 20+ years longevity in position which ensures great support
• Physician salary range begins at: $220,000 anually (with an additional robust benefits package)

We require:

• BC/BE preferred in one of the following: Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Preventative Medicine, Public Health, or Urgent Care
• Experience and ability to treat Occupational Health injuries and illnesses (laceration treatment and care, general injury care, minor wound care, post-exposure care)
• Specialty examinations such as employment physicals, DOT physical exams, executive physical exams,
• Return to work exams, and fit for duty exams
• DOT Certification, or within six months of hire (all providers)
• MRO Certification, or within six months of hire (physicians)
• Level II Colorado Workers Compensation Accreditation for MD's and DO's, or obtain within 6 months
