Job summary

Barton Associates seeks a Physician specializing in Occupational Medicine for a 1-day assignment in New Jersey. The shift runs 7am–5pm with an expected throughput of ~32 patients, in collaboration with onsite technicians.

The role involves outpatient clinic work with paper charting and a focus on comprehensive physicals and relevant tests. Board-certified occupational medicine physicians with proficiency in exams, PFTs, EKGs, and radiography are preferred.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Occupational Medicine with active license.
• Ability to perform multiple clinical exams and tests.
• Experience with outpatient clinic workflows and charting.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical exams and questionnaires.
• Administer respiratory clearance and fit tests.
• Take vitals, collect labs, and perform EKGs as needed.
• Conduct vision, audiogram, and X-ray procedures as required.
• See ~32 patients during a single 7am-5pm shift.
• Collaborate with onsite technicians to complete tasks.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Physician specializing in Occupational Medicine for a 1-day assignment with our client in NJ, starting on a future date. This role involves a single shift on a Wednesday, from 7am to 5pm, where you will conduct various medical exams, manage approximately 32 patients, and collaborate closely with a team of onsite technicians.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform comprehensive physical exams with questionnaires.
• Conduct respiratory clearance and respiratory fit tests (Scott AV3000 / Kit 1 w/ Scott Adapter).
• Measure height, weight, UA, and vitals.
• Administer PFTs (WorkCare/AllOne forms).
• Perform vision tests including near, far, color depth, and peripheral vision.
• Administer audiograms (WorkCare/AllOne form).
• Collect blood/urine samples for heavy metals only (client provides forms and kits).
• Perform EKGs at the provider's discretion.
• Conduct 2-view X-rays.
• See approximately 32 patients during the shift.
• Work collaboratively with a team of technicians.
