Mercy Clinic Joplin is seeking an OB/GYN physician to join a busy, comprehensive practice in Joplin, Missouri. You will deliver obstetric and gynecologic care as part of a supportive, physician-led team, enjoying independence with the backing of a large network.

We offer a substantial compensation package including a guaranteed base of $400,000 plus $50,000 in recruitment incentives and a $10,000 relocation allowance, with generous vacation, CME time, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage OB/GYN practice flow.
• Ability to handle high patient demand and complex cases.
• Strong collaboration with multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide OB/GYN care across deliveries and routine obstetric/gyn care.
• Work with a team of OB/GYN physicians and APPs to meet patient demand.
• Participate in patient-centered care and clinical excellence initiatives.

Mercy Clinic OB/GYN is recruiting an additional OB/GYN physician to meet growing patient demand throughout Joplin and the surrounding area. We perform 110 deliveries per month. At Mercy Joplin you’ll find the freedom to work independently while getting the support of a large network. Work alongside an expert team of care professionals including 5 OB/GYN’s and 2 APP’s who genuinely care for one another and share your passion for providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

Transforming the Health of Our Communities

Our Mercy health system was founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1986. But our heritage goes back more than 195 years. It began with an Irish woman named Catherine McAuley, who was determined to help women and children in Dublin experiencing poverty. Though Catherine had a modest upbringing, she received an unexpected inheritance that allowed her to fulfill that dream. In 1827, she opened the first House of Mercy in Dublin, intending to teach skills to women and educate children. Many volunteers came to help. A few years later, Catherine founded the Sisters of Mercy, one of the first religious orders whose Sisters were free to walk among the poor and visit them in their homes. In 1843, the Sisters of Mercy came to the United States. In 1856, they travelled to St. Louis. In the years to come, they would establish hospitals throughout the Midwest. Many of these would join together in 1986 as Mercy.
