Job summary

Optum is seeking a dedicated OB/GYN Hospitalist (per diem) to join our team in Poughkeepsie, NY. This role provides independent practice with strong hospital affiliation and comprehensive women’s health services, including deliveries and inpatient/outpatient procedures.

You will work with a collaborative care team, have access to in-house diagnostics, and contribute to a patient-centered model of care within a Fortune 5 company.

Qualifications

• Must hold an unrestricted New York medical license or have NY license in process.
• Board certification in OBGYN or board-eligible status required.
• Active and unrestricted DEA license or ability to obtain prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive women’s health services, including deliveries and inpatient/outpatient procedures.
• Full-scope GYN practice with major/minor procedures, including minimally invasive surgeries (robotics).
• Coordinate care with GYN-Oncology, Perinatology and NICU teams; collaborate with hospital staff.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive women’s health services to our community through the provision of office services, deliveries, and inpatient/outpatient surgical procedures
• Full scope GYN practice with major and minor procedures including minimally invasive surgeries with robotics

• Fully privileged at Northern Westchester Hospital

Required Qualifications:

• Unrestricted licensure in the state of New York or has New York application in process
• Board Certification or board eligibility in OBGYN

Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $291,500-501,000. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
