Description:We are seeking a locum tenens physician in obstetrics and gynecology.This role involves both clinic coverage and call coverage.The clinic operates Monday through Thursday from 8 AM to 5 PM and Fridays from 8 AM to 12 PM.The provider on call will assist in the clinic during the day for urgent matters.You will be working alongside one permanent provider and three nurse practitioners, plus nursing support.The average patient load is 15-20 patients per day.For call coverage, there are approximately 30-40 deliveries per month.Please note that the hospital does not have a NICU; patients requiring specialized care will be life-flighted to a tertiary center.The provider should possess skills in low-risk pregnancy management and have experience with routine deliveries.FHR interpretation, the performance and interpretation of OB ultrasounds, and the ability to perform vaginal deliveries are required.Preferred skills include decision-making for cesarean sections, managing complicated deliveries, and handling breech and multiple births.Experience with minor gynecology procedures and major surgical gynecology is also preferred.The expected credentialing timeframe is around 30 days.Candidates must have the necessary certifications and be board certified.
