Job summary

Barton Associates seeks a Board-certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a 6-day assignment in New Hampshire. The role includes 24/7 on-call coverage across outpatient, inpatient, ED, and labor/delivery, with some clinic time.

The position involves surgical procedures and inpatient rounds, with approximately 80 deliveries annually at AVH. Travel-related expenses are covered, and malpractice insurance is provided.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

• Proven ability to manage labor and delivery in a high-volume setting.

• Attend clinic sessions at AVH OB/GYN and CCFHS Prenatal Clinic 1–2 times weekly.
• Perform surgical procedures as primary surgeon or assistant.
• Manage labor and delivery cases and inpatient rounds.
• Oversee scheduled C-sections, ideally outside morning clinic hours.
• Handle a patient mix of ~90% prenatal and ~10% gynecology in clinic.

Our client in New Hampshire is seeking an Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a 6-day assignment. This role involves comprehensive 24/7 on-call coverage, encompassing outpatient and inpatient care, ED consultations, surgical procedures, labor management, and routine inpatient rounds. The schedule primarily includes continuous on-call duties with some dedicated clinic time.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide 24/7 on-call coverage for outpatient needs, emergency department consultations, and inpatient obstetrics and gynecology.
• Conduct clinic hours at the AVH OB/GYN office and CCFHS Prenatal Clinic, typically 1-2 times per week.
• Perform surgical procedures, serving as primary surgeon or assistant.
• Manage labor and delivery cases.
• Conduct inpatient rounds and care for OB/GYN patients.
• Oversee scheduled C-sections, ideally planned outside of morning clinic hours.
• Address a patient caseload in clinic settings consisting of approximately 90% prenatal and 10% GYN cases.
