Job summary

Barton Associates is seeking an OB/GYN Physician for an 8-day assignment in Nevada. The role is 24-hour on-call from 7 AM to 7 AM, with duties including managing low and high-risk pregnancies, OB ultrasounds, and routine and complex deliveries.

The position requires Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology and ABLS. EMR: Medhost. Expected patient encounters ~20 per shift; LOA: 8 days; travel expenses and malpractice coverage provided by the client agency.

Qualifications

• ABLS certification required.
• Board certification in OB/GYN required.
• Experience with OB ultrasound and high-risk pregnancies a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage low and high risk pregnancies.
• Perform and interpret OB ultrasounds.
• Conduct routine and complicated deliveries (vaginal, C-sections, breech).
• Repair 3rd and 4th degree lacerations.
• Perform operative and major gynecological procedures as needed.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage low and high risk pregnancies.
• Perform and interpret OB ultrasounds.
• Conduct routine and complicated deliveries (vaginal, low forceps, C-sections, breech, multiple births, abruptions).
• Repair 3rd and 4th degree lacerations.
• Perform operative and major gynecological procedures as needed.

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required.
• Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS) certification required.
• EMR System: Medhost
• Work Setting: Call Only with out-of-house call.
• Patients per day: Approximately 20 patient encounters per shift.
