Job summary

OVP Health seeks qualified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physicians to join the nocturnist roster at OhioHealth southeastern Medical Center in Cambridge, Ohio. The position offers either 1099 contracting or W2 employment with benefits, including a CME stipend, health/dental/vision, and a 401K with company contribution.

The role features a 7 on/7 off, 7 pm–7 am schedule with single-physician night coverage and a 12-bed ICU capable of intubations and central lines.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Willingness to work as a nocturnist in an inpatient hospital setting.
• Experience in hospital or acute care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide nocturnist inpatient coverage at OhioHealth southeastern Medical Center.
• Collaborate with ER and specialty teams to manage admissions.
• Maintain high-quality patient care during night shifts.

• OVP Health is actively seeking qualified Internal Medicine and Family Medicine trained physicians to work as a Nocturnist in helping grow our Hospitalist program at OhioHealth southeastern Medical Center in Cambridge, Ohio. This opportunity offers either 1099 contracting or W2 employment w/benefits.
  • Our practice offers Hospitalists a supportive and rewarding inpatient practice environment.
  • The program offers outstanding specialty support along with a "Team" like approach with the ER (same group).
  • Average admissions 4-5 per shift
  • Single Physician coverage at night
  • 12 bed open ICU (Intubations and central lines required)
  • 7 on/ 7 off, 7p-7a shift
  • W2 FTE or 1099 IC contracts
    • W2 would include
      • $2,500/yr CME.
