Job Summary

The Orthopedic Institute is seeking an Neurosurgeon specializing in Spine Surgery to join our practice based in our Gainesville offices. TOI has an established 40+ year legacy practice with 9 clinic locations across Florida, 6 Express Ortho urgent care sites driving same- and next-day access and 45+ physicians across multiple subspecialties. Our physicians practice across the full musculoskeletal continuum including sports medicine, spine, trauma, reconstruction, interventional pain, and more. Our robust infrastructure allows surgeons to operate at the top of their license.

Requirements
Education and Licensure
  • Board certification in Neurological Surgery
  • Fellowship training in Spine Surgery required
  • Experience or interest in complex spine, degenerative spine, and minimally invasive techniques preferred
  • Clear and active license in the respective state (or willingness to obtain state license)
Experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic, and sometimes demanding environment.
  • Experience with a wide range of medical conditions
  • Strong triage and multitasking skills
