CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, LA invites a full-time Neurosurgeon to join a premier regional referral center.

You will deliver inpatient and outpatient neurosurgical care, collaborate with a robust medical staff, and participate in a balanced call rotation in a high-volume setting. The role offers modern ORs, advanced imaging, and a strong referral network across Central Louisiana within a faith-based health system.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery.
• Unrestricted Louisiana Medical License or eligibility to obtain prior to start date.
• Team-oriented clinician with compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive inpatient and outpatient neurosurgical care.
• Perform elective and complex emergent neurosurgical procedures.

At CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, you will collaborate with a robust medical staff of over 325 physicians and a multidisciplinary care team to deliver life-changing cranial and spinal interventions.

This role offers access to modern, fully equipped operating rooms, state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging, and a deeply rooted referral stream spanning across Central Louisiana.

What You Will Do

• Deliver comprehensive inpatient and outpatient neurosurgical care.
• Perform both elective and complex emergent neurosurgical procedures.
• Participate in a shared, manageable call rotation schedule.
• Collaborate closely with trauma, orthopedic, and intensive care specialists.
• Contribute to clinical quality initiatives and the strategic growth of the neuroscience service line.

What We Are Looking For

• Education: M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited institution.
• Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery.
• Licensure: Unrestricted Louisiana Medical License (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date).
