Job description

A well-established healthcare organization in coastal Maine is seeking a board-certified neurologist to join its growing outpatient practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician seeking a slower pace of life while practicing high quality neurology in a supportive and collaborative environment.

The incoming physician will provide comprehensive outpatient neurology services and enjoy significant autonomy in structuring patient care. Appointment lengths are typically 30 minutes, allowing for thoughtful patient interactions and manageable daily volumes. You will work alongside an experienced part time neurologist and collaborate with hospital based physicians when consultation is needed.

This position offers an exceptional quality of life with no inpatient responsibilities and no call requirements. The schedule is typically four 10 hour days each week, with flexibility available to accommodate physician preferences.

The practice welcomes physicians with interests in general neurology or subspecialty areas such as epilepsy, stroke, neuromuscular disorders, sleep medicine, or movement disorders. Fellowship training is not required.
